Crowns & Bridges

Should your tooth become decayed, broken or chipped a crown is often used to be fitted over the tooth as a durable and neat repair.

What is a dental crown?

Should your tooth become decayed, broken or chipped a crown is often used to be fitted over the tooth as a durable and neat repair.

Your dentist will initially get the shape of your tooth using an impression and then carefully match the appropriate colour so the crown doesn’t look out of place with the rest of your surrounding teeth. Using your impression, we’re able to manufacture a crown fix this to the target area using a bonding agent.

What is a dental bridge?

A dental bridge is essentially a bridge to fill a gap left by a damaged or lost tooth. A hollow crown is used to replace the missing tooth and very much like the above process, we ensure that the colour is matched to your natural teeth.

The dental bridge is then bonded to your adjacent teeth and the gap is filled.
